JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
• To align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on HR related issues.

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the zone's financial position, midterm plans, its culture and competition
• Partner with business to develop workforce planning and strategies
• Provide guidance to business leaders in interpretation and execution of people agenda
• Identification and Monitoring of talents and management of succession planning
• Formulate partnership across HR functions to deliver value added services to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization
• Provides day-to-day performance guidance to Line Management (e.g. coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions etc.)
• Work closely with zonal management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
• Monitor quality and compliance on the performance management process as well as ensuring performance culture is instilled among employees.
• Support Line managers in identifying Training needs for respective business units and ensure implementation of training framework.
• Initiating and proactively advising HR policy changes basing on business needs
• Be a change lead, through advising and challenging stakeholders with respect to organizational changes and ensure they have the right methodologies and tools
• Ensure HR processes within the operating model function effectively as well as making sure HR services are up to date and aligned with the wishes of the business.
• Provide HR policy guidance, interpretation and monitor its compliance
• Handle staff grievances and initiate disciplinary procedures where necessary.

• Master's degree /HR Certification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 4 - 5 Years' experience in Human resources including HR Business Partnering.
• 2 years' experience in banking or financial institutions is preferred.

JOB DETAILS:
Learning and Development Officer

Main Purpose:
To provide efficient support for the required coordinating duties for training programs through Tanzania with specific focus on implementing Global Training Initiatives, programs and other initiatives.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively compile training programs for the year for Tanzania.
• Engage with the Global Head of Learning & Development to obtain all logistical details for the training programs (external, internal, etc.)
• Deal in a timely manner all Learning & Development queries. Tracks and manages all requests and queries, providing actions and updates to relevant parties.
• Resolves as many requests as possible on the initial call, reducing the number of calls redirected to the next level of support.
• Ensure successful and accurate completion of tasks.
• Where necessary follow Procurement process and present Invoices for payment (also follow up on payments or queries)
• Contact Vendors where necessary (to confirm availability for training dates, venue and printing requirements, catering, etc.)
• Carry out all logistical duties for arranging training programs (booking venues, printing material, catering, etc.)
• Upload course and open schedules on Puma Learning System
• Consolidate nominations (book/invite). Thereafter confirm acceptance/declines and finalize attendee list.
• Schedule updates meetings (as required required) and provide feedback on progress on all coordinating duties with Global Head of Learning & Development.
• Post training: obtain signed delegate list from facilitator, completed training evaluation sheets, capture necessary details on Puma Learning System and follow up invoice payment.
• Manage in country training budgets and ensure that training requests are in line with Company requirements and relevant accredited, job-related etc.)
• Continually identifies opportunities for improving processes, business efficiencies and customer service.

Requirements:
Experience:
• Minimum 3years’ experience in Learning & Development environment.
• Computer literacy essential – Knowledge of Microsoft Office esp. Excel and Word, essential.

Skills:
• Strong Learning & Development administration experience and able to work methodically and accurately
• Ability to analyze Learning & Development data effectively
• Able to embrace the changing business environment
• Shows initiative to resolve issues but also to escalate when necessary

JOB DETAILS:
Superintendent Environment – Closure Planning and Rehabilitation.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To ensure that mine closure plan is updated, approved, and successfully implemented as per GGML’s objectives, policies, and standards as well legal and other requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences/engineering, or any other related field.

EXPERIENCE:
• At least 7 years’ experience in a similar role.

MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
AGA Standards and Legal and other Requirements:
• Implementation of AGA’s Biodiversity, Land Use and Closure Planning Management Standards
• Drive compliance with mine closure legal and other requirements
• Establish the necessary Closure processes and practices and oversee their implementation
Mine Closure Plan:
• Administer and coordinate the Mine Closure Plan and update process to successful completion.
Liability estimates:
• Collect input data and update the closure liability estimates on a quarterly basis.
• Work with a demolition contractor to update demolition estimates as needed.
• Liaise with relevant department to update the infrastructure register
Closure plan implementation and rehabilitation
• Develop annual rehabilitation plan in line with the approved mine closure plan
• Execute the annual rehabilitation plan within approved budget targets and specified timeframes, costs and related KPIs
Closure monitoring:
• Direct the collection and analysis of closure monitoring data.
• Manage the preparation of a closure status report with recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee the implementation of recommendations for improvement needed to achieve completion criteria, i.e., aftercare and maintenance.
Safety:
• Demonstrate Safety Leadership and improve the Culture across the Environment section regarding Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainable Development
Resources and expertise:
• Provide resources and expertise to develop the closure planning and rehabilitation team to capably and consistently deliver the annual budget, according to their role and level of authority
Closure and rehabilitation projects:
• Rigorously drive implementation of projects and nurture and sustain a culture of Accountability and Continuous Improvement within Closure team.
Stakeholder engagement:
• Develop and maintain constructive relationships with Internal and external Stakeholders to establish existing and changing internal, societal, and regulatory expectations and requirements.
• Any other duties as assigned by a supervisor related to business need.

• Ability to drive as well as possessing a valid driving license.
