Climate Hub Tanzania was born in 2021 from a simple but urgent observation: that the communities most affected by climate change in Tanzania had the least access to the education, resources, and spaces needed to respond to it.
What started as a small youth-led initiative has grown into a nationally recognised climate organisation working across climate education, green innovation, and direct community livelihoods. From school eco-hubs in rural communities to fellows leading climate projects across the country, from rebuilding healthy latrines for school children after the Manyara landslides to installing clean energy solutions in underserved schools. CHT has grown by staying close to the ground.
Today, we have reached over 10,000 people across Tanzania. But the work is far from done, and we are so glad to have you with us.
