JOB DETAILS:
Role overview Leads the resource mobilization work for the TCECCI builds the profile connections and credibility of the alliance with donors. Ensures that the work of the tcecci has the resources it needs. Serves as a key representatives and planner for the global tcecci leads with drive and inspiration and with humility and collaboration. .

  Key responsibilities.
• Provide visionary, strategic leadership to TCECCI fundraising and translate that vision into specific strategies and concrete actions to revenue targets and towards organizational growth.
• Act as a key change agent, responsible for translating a strategic change into plans and operational delivery. Oversee project teams composed of networks of people across geography, them and functions.
• Raise resources from foundations, trusts, prospect research, in-person outreach and relationship building and writing, editing and submission of concept notes and proposals.
• Mobilize capacity in support of the tcecci and best use of member expertise and potential.
• Manage donor relations on funding being spent, ensure compliance and prevent disallowances, guide and edit donor reports and ensure ongoing and expanded support by the donors. Help donors understand and be ambassadors for the impact achieved in the approach of organizing and mobilizing people and the building up of grassroots collective power. Support the strategic engagement of the other global team members and allies in high value fundraising efforts.
• Advise and support organization alliances in engaging with and securing resources from Donor.
• Develop projection for annual revenue to support creation of the organizational budget.
• Capture lessons and best practice for wider sharing and to inform planning. Coordinate monitoring and reporting including organizing reflection and learning activities.
• Ensure financial performance of the team including the delivery of agreed targets. Draw up budget, monitor, forecast and report on the budget, including justifying variances.
• Be an active part of planning and other regular staff meetings of the organization team and participate in training and learning activities organized. Manage performance and staff development of direct reports.
• From time to time carry out any other duties that are within the scope of the job and reasonably required by Director.

• Experience of managing donor relations on funding being spent, ensuring compliance and preventing disallowances, guiding and editing donor reports and ensuring ongoing and expanded support by the donors.
• Substantive multi-country experience in organizations working in aligned with NGOs, CSOs and able to win resources for campaigning work and for mobilizing and organizing.
• Leadership experience in decentralized contexts and multiple accountability structures. Able to thrive in an emergent and uncertain space in start up local organization without all the systems, processes and support to become strong organization. Able to thrive in a new role from the beginning.
• Excellent analytical skills underpinned by a good understand of development issues and debates, international institutions and processes. Knowledge of laws, regulations and best practice governing NGO and funding, strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong environmental policies understanding, child protection policies, Women rights and committed to battling all forms of discrimination to standing with the most oppressed. Strong committed to develop, promote and practice Tanzania community enhancement for climate change initiatives.
