JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
- Project cost tracking and analysis (materials, labor and overheads)
- Monitoring site-level expenses and cost allocations
- Work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and valuation
- Budget vs. actual analysis per project
- Coordination with Project Managers and QS (Quantity Surveyors)
- Job costing and profitability reporting per contract
- Supplier invoice processing and payment scheduling
- Maintain Account Payable Schedules and ensure vendors are paid as per agreed credit terms
- Process Payroll in coordination with HR Department
- Vendor Account Reconciliation
- Review staff claims and requests for allowances
- Review labour payment claims
- Aging analysis and reporting
Key Skills
- Proficient in using ERP/SAP
- Attention to details
- Presentation skills
- Computer Proficiency – Advanced user
- Excellent communication skills and team coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Accountancy/Finance or related field
- Five (5) years working experience
- Experience in construction, engineering industries added advantage
- CPA(T) added advantage
- Working Station: Dodoma & Elsewhere in Tanzania and Eastern Africa
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
