JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting patrol activities in and around the Park;
• Guarding visitors, staff and their properties and ensuring their security;
• Enforcing National Parks laws, rules and regulations;
• RespondingtoemergencysituationssuchasrescueandinstitutingFirstAid;
• Participating in marking, clearing and protection of park boundary
• Reporting on matters relating to the security, safety and general operations of the respective section to the immediate superior;
• Checking, searching, apprehendingand/orarrestingperson/personssuspectedofwildlifeoffences;
• Ensuring safety of sentryarea and handleallincidences;
• Participating in routine and ad–hocparades;
• Investigating matters relating to possible wildlife offences and give evidence before thecourtof law;
• Participatinginjointprotectionactivitieswithotherwildlifeinstitutionsandlawenforcementagenciesin, around and cross–borders;
• Participatingincollaborativepatroloperationswithadjacentcommunitiesinprotectingpropertiesand human life;
• Participating in ecological monitoring activities such as animal health monitoring, animalcounts/census, weather data collection, early burning, fire suppression and GIS; and
• Performing other related duties as may be assigned by the superior.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Certificate of Secondary Education Examination(CSEE) with Basicor Technician Certificate in Wildlife Management or One-year National Service Certificate.
