Job Description
Responsibilities;
1. Maintain a safe and healthy working environment:
• Implement safety, health, and environmental legislation and procedures.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Manage human resources:
• Develop employees through training and mentorship.
• Manage and apply personnel processes.
• Ensure a healthy employee relations climate.

1. Optimize plant and equipment availability and reliability:
• Maintain maintenance integrity.
• Optimize plant availability.
• Plan and implement maintenance priorities.

1. Optimize process performance:
• Conduct engineering administration.
• Optimize the plant for quality and loss improvement.
• Support continuous improvement.

1. Manage planned maintenance system integrity and optimal usage:
• Manage issues emanating from systems reports.
• Ensure asset care business processes are adhered to.

1. Facilitate problem solving:
• Identify problems or potential problems.
• Facilitate level 2 problem solving.

1. Ensuring Good Practices:
• Ensure that all team members are fully conversant with good practices.
• Develop and drive implementation plans to progress maturity in principles and practices.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in utility system management within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of utility systems, including boilers, chillers, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with energy management and conservation practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex utility issues.
• Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficient in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
