JOB DETAILS:
Duties and responsibilities
• To steer ship under direction of ship commander or navigating officer;
• To be standby when ship is on automatic pilot and verifying accuracy of course by comparing with magnetic compass;
• To prepare and test wheel house equipment prior to operations/ departures;
• To relay on specified signals to ships in vicinity, using visual signaling devices;
• To perform laundry duties; and
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE) with Basic Mandatory Certificates as per STCW95 and Rating Forming Part of Navigation Watch (RFPNW).
• The candidate must have a Sea Service of not less than Eight (8) years.
• The deadline for submitting the application is 7 April 2023.
