DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for all type of heavy earth moving machineries
• Maintaining all type bucket loaders/stackers, cranes, forklift, crawler dozers, graders, compactors, & other miscellaneous equipment to achieve optimum level of availability fixed by the management.
• Responsible for the accountability for the spares drawn from stores
• To lead a team of mechanics and asst mechanics.
• Coordinating with the other section like auto electrical, tyre section, welding and fabrication and machine shop for getting the job done
• Spare parts Planning and raising the required spares well in advance for the smooth running/ shutdown maintenance.
• Maintain the job allocation, work progress report, materials consumed documents comes under his control
• Training our own technicians and giving sufficient technical knowledge to all industrial trainees to improve on their performance

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• An advanced Diploma in Mechanical or/Automotive Engineering or their equivalent plus a certificate in basic Supervisory Management
• At least eight (8) years hands-on job experience as a heavy earth moving machinery mechanic on the shop floor in a big motor vehicle garage

Level of Education: Associate Degree
