The Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) is a Constituent College of the University of Dar esSalaam established in 2005.The main functions of the College as stipulated in the Dar es Salaam University College of Education Charter and the Rules of 2010 are to provide integrated teaching, research and public service. Applications are invited from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill short term vacant position at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) situated at Chang’ombe, Temeke District, Dar es Salaam. Successful candidate shall be engaged in one – year renewable contract terms to the following vacant post:-

Qualifications
• A holder of form IV certificate plus Trade Test Grade II in Electronics or related fields from recognized Institutions.
• Area of specialization
• Installation and Maintenance/Repair of Public Addressing System

Duties and Responsibilities
• To perform routine specified tasks that demand higher technical skills under supervision;
• To keep the work place tidy;
• To collect and take care of working tools;
• To carry out minor repairs and maintenance;
• To report maintenance problems to senior staff; and
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Salary Scale: PGSS 2

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: High School
